Seeing as the generation in power atm has gone throught exams, you would have thought they would have abolished them by now.

Readers - the authors of this blog are going through the terrifyng ordeal of waiting for exam results.We are very stressed.
We've gone through the revising.
We've gone through the preperation.
We've gone through sitting the squillion exams.
And now we are waiting. Waiting. Waiting.
We've been waiting for m o n t h s.
Did you know in France they mark everyones results and return them to them within a month after they sat each individual one?
And yet I'm still waiting to findn out that I have failed everythhhhhhhhing. And life.
Its very annoying.
VERY frustrating.
And scary....

Amaa right or ameraang??
I apologise in advance for any spelling mistakes (yes, really) .
One of my friends suggested that I write a Scottish dictionary, you know translating some of the Scots words into English so you guys can understand.
To be honest, it’s more likely to be a Glaswegian dictionary.
Because they pretty much have their own language, as there are so many wee words and phrases that are unique to Glaswegians. Or “Weegies”.
“As you probably know, everybody in Glasgow’s called Jimmy. Even the women!” –Billy Connolly.

Pretty much sums up the phrase Jimmy.
There we go, your first two word. Wee,little (but everyone and their granny knows that one)
There are pretty basic words, like numptie, and eejit, that are obviously insults. And Jessie, which is basically a sissy.
Hen- woman (womaen)
Son- Pretty much the male equivalent
Crabbit- Grumpy/bad tempered.
Some words are almost cognates, like heid-(head), bawheid is quite a common insult.
Napper is another word for head. Just, throwing that out there.
Daft- Stupid or should I say, stupaat.
To be honest, It’s mainly to do with the accent, so the most ordinary words sound completely different.
A haenfuw a family words.
Murra-Mother.
Brurra- Brother.
Farra- Father.
And well, you get the picture :)
Haen.-Hand.
Lass- Girl.
Redd-rid, as if , to get rid off.
Wi-With.
Ma-My.
Awwraa- All the.
Aff-Off.
Swallie- Drink.
Yin-Wan (one)
Sarky-Sarcastic.
Taen-Taken
Yatter-Talk too much
Weans-Children.
Saft-Simple.
And possibly the most important word, Ra- the.
